Zac Brown Band came out with some pretty exciting news that they added an eighth member to the band, but the real news is that the band is going on a 27 stop tour. Starting in Nebraska on May 24th, the bank will go to Florida, New York, Ohio, Georgia and start moving to the west with shows in Nevada, South Dakota and even California before ending in New York on August 15th.
Zac Brown Band has been known to rock the house once or twice, but this tour is exceptional. In fact, there have been plenty of rumors circulating that the band has covered Metallica during the show and did so like a true rock legend. Being a country band, this is a great change of pace for a band mostly known for their country rhythm.
The set list of the tour is quite impressive with songs such as “Whiskey’s Gone,” “Sweet Annie,” and “Chicken Fried” being some of the fan favorites that will be heard. As far as covers are concerned, the band will be covering songs from the Foo Fighters, Billy Joel, John Mayer and Metallica.
The opening act is Clay Cook. Clay is a quiet musician that first gained recognition on “You Get What You Give.”
Kacey Musgraves will be making an appearance at some of the stops along the way including Nebraska, Florida, North Carolina, New York and Boston. Kacey is an extreme talent and recently won best country song and album at the 2014 Grammy Awards. Fans attending any shows featuring Kacey will be in for a treat as she hits the stage with “Mama’s Broken Heart.”
The Zac Brown Band will light the stage on fire and this is a show that simply perfects country music. For a once in a lifetime experience, this is the show you must see.
