The legendary Foo Fighters are back on top of the charts, and their world tour has just begin. The Sonic Highways World Tour coincides with the release of the group’s eighth studio album. Titled Sonic Highways, the album has been a major success and has propelled the group back into the spotlight.
Sonic Highways World Tour started on December 10, 2014 and is scheduled to come to a close on October 7, 2015. The tour is scheduled to include shows all across the world, including:
In total, there are 63 shows that the band is scheduled to play, but these numbers keep rising with additional shows recently added in Denver, Anaheim and Los Angeles.
The tour is set to open in Cape Town, South Africa on December 10th. The band will play one more time on the continent and then proceed to Chile on January 15, 2015 where they will open up their South American portion of the tour. Foo Fighters will close out this leg of the tour on January 31st.
The Oceania leg of the tour will begin on February 18th in New Zealand and proceed to Australia before heading to England on May 25, 2015. Many European countries will be included in the tour, including:
The final leg of the tour will start on July 4th, 2015 in the United States where the band will move between the United States and Canada before the tour comes to a close in Memphis, Tennessee on October 7th, 2015.

The Foo Fighters are expected to be on stage for 2 to 2 and a half hours. The typical set for the band includes 23 songs, many of which will come from their latest album Sonic Highways.
