Dave Matthews Band is hitting the road again this summer, kicking off a North American tour on May 13th in Austin, Texas. The band will be on the road all summer long and through September.
It’s no big secret that Dave Matthews Band has a tremendous following, and to accommodate fans, the band will be playing two-night stands in quite a few cities, including:
Of course, DMB will also return to George, WA’s Gorge Amphitheatre to host their Labor Day Weekend event.
During the band’s 2014 run, they performed two full sets each night. They plan on doing the same thing again for their summer 2015 tour. Fans will be treated to both acoustic and electric sets. If last year’s tour is any indication of what’s to come this summer, fans can expect to hear a unique line-up of songs, including covers like “Sugar Man” by Rodriguez and “Slip Slidin’ Away” by Paul Simon.
Dave Matthews Band goes to great lengths to give their fans an unforgettable show. The band will check in with the venue to find out what songs have been played over the last five years, who’s been played and how far they are from these areas. Shows that are played in cities just hours apart from each other will receive completely different set lists. It keeps things fresh, and fans love them for it.
Tickets go on sale Friday, February 13th at 10 AM. The band will make stops in cities all across North America and parts of Canada. No opening act has been announced as of yet, but considering the band’s double set format, it is doubtful there will be one.
